A day in the Eastern Majella: the mountain of hermitages, villages and the bear Guided tour of the Celestinian Hermitage of Madonna dell’Altare, nestled on the slopes of Porrara mountain, in an oasis of peace and silence. In the afternoon, accompanied by a guide, visit to the wildlife area of the Marsican bear, where it is possible to spot and observe 3 specimens of brown bears, and a walk in the small village of Palena.
